Emily is a doctoral candidate at The University of Texas at Austin. During the week she teaches a non-major introduction to film music course, and on weekends she teaches knitting and crochet at Hill Country Weavers in austin. She is also the lifestyle editor of Austin-based online daily The Horn. She’s equally handy in knitting and crochet, and also dabbles in spinning and embroidery. She also likes to pretend she has a green thumb, and lives and dies by Chicago sports, the Longhorns, and Butler men’s basketball. Loves: SVP & Russillo, Adventure Time, Mike Wilbon, kitties, Dandies vegan marshmallows, Berroco, Doctor Who. Dislikes: Skip Bayless, the Lions, Texas A&M, bad yarn joins, yarn snobs, slow walkers.
